Hi to all, My grandparents lived in a very little community called Daniel Town in Either Rutherford or Cleveland County back in the 60's. I just wondered if anyone knows where this was. My granny Minnie Ethel Grigg Fortune died in 1967 and my grandfather Raleigh Washington Fortune who died in 1974 lived there. I know at the end of I think a dirt road there was a pond. My parents, Margie Lee Fortune( still living) and Robert Oates, died in 1987, wouldn't let us swim in it as it had a lot of snakes and I am terrified of them, especially when the water is murky and you can't see anything below a few inches.
