Hi, all... I've spent a bit of time lately going through census records looking for members of my Lovelace family and their descendants in Rutherford and Cleveland counties. I'm faced with the problem of having never lived in those counties, and I'm curious as to the townships I find in going through the census records. My folks were found in the Sandy Run District, in Colfax Twp., in Duncan's Creek Twp., in Logans Store Twp., and in several other areas throughout the census history. I'm curious to find if any of you know of a good resource, either hardcopy or software, either online or available elsewhere, which outlines the formations of the various districts and townships in Rutherford and Cleveland Co. through time. I have AniMap, which does an excellent job of showing changes in the boundaries of counties throughout the US. I could really use something of that sort to show me the different districts, townships, and post offices I keep finding. Anybody know of anything? Thanks in advance....
