1944 Spindale, Feb.18- MRS. LAURA McDANIEL, 67, w/o EDGAR McDANIEL, died yesterday morning at her home in Spindale. She had been an invalid for a number of years and was blind during the last two years of her life. She is survived by 2 sons, OLLICE, Spindale and THERON McDANIEL with the army in Texas; 2 daughters, MRS. LELA KENNEDY and MRS. ANNIE BELLE SIMMONS, Spindale; one sister, MRS. J.W. McDANIEL, Spindale and 4 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but services will probably be held at the Spencer Bapt. church by her pastor , the Rev. JOE PARSON, interment in the cemetery at Gilkey. --- Rutherfordton, Feb. 18- MRS. E.E. NEILL, 78, died at the home of a daughter, MRS. FRED McBRAYER, with whom she had lived. Funeral services will be held at the Bald Creek Meth. church. The body will will be taken to the church to lie until the hour of services. MRS. NEILL is survived by her daughter, MRS. McBRAYER; 2 sons, Sheriff R.E. NEILL, of Yancy Co. and J.B. NEILL, Weaverville; a sister, MRS. J.L. RAY of Burnsville; 2 brothers, T.W. BURTON, Markle, Ind. and J.B. BURTON, of Flint, Mich.
