Hello List, I am researching the following families in Rutherford County NC: 1. Jonathan Middleton WILLIAMS, born about 1755, married Rhoda ELLIOTT, son of Jones O. WILLIAMS and Elizabeth MIDDLETON. 2. William ELLIOTT, SR., born 1750 - 1757, married Linda (possibly a MIDDLETON), parents of Rhoda ELLIOTT WILLIAMS. 3. Johnson LEDBETTER, born 1782- 1785, married Nancy WHITESIDE, moved to Lumpkin/Dawson County GA. 4. John WHITESIDE, born 18 May 1758, son of John WHITESDIE, SR., and Mary UNDERWOOD, married Eleanor KELLY. 5. Andrew LYDAY, born about 1735, married Sarah MACKEY, son, Henry LYDAY, married Mary WILLIAMS, moved to Grady County MO. I would love to correspond with descendants of the above families. I am looking for any information on the McBrayer/McBrair/Brier family. I am a direct descendant of Ichabod McBrayer who was born in Rutherford Co, in 1780. He married there ca. 1800 to Mary ? and perhaps left NC for KY soon thereafter. Still other kin seemed to have remained (and still do today). Anything you may have will be appreciated. Bob Robert L.
