Thanks a million. ============================================================= Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB was born about ca 1760-1765. His son, Elias, said that his father, Pleasant was born in Ireland (not substantiated). He died between 1830 and 1840 in Ohio, USA. Around 1800 Pleasant and family came in to the Ohio valley from Rutherford County, North Carolina . In 1803 (reported to be 45 years old) he was at the Licks in Scioto County, Ohio. Pleasant was in GreenupCounty, Kentucky in 1820 and in Lawrence County, Ohio in 1830. He did not appear in the 1840 census, so it is believed he died between 1830-1840. Pleasant (Plesent) WEBB and Unknown had the following children: James WEBB (1786), Elias WEBB (1788), Thomas Hanley WEBB (1795), Aden WEBB (1797), Temperance WEBB (1799), William WEBB (1801), Margaret WEBB (1806), Sarah (Sally) WEBB (1809), and Baker WEBB (1811). Larry, Was Elias Webb you mentioned married to Mary Ann Maynor? Did they have the following children: Matilda Caroline, William Henry, Lincinda Jane, George Washington, Susan, Mary, Julia Ann , E. B., Brittain Rice, Maranda, James, John and Elizabeth. If so I have information on Matilda Caroline, first married possibly to Hiram Robertson then to Pleasant William Patterson. Pleasant and Matilda were the great grandparents of my late husband. I will gladly exchange information with anyone who is interested in doing the same. Hazel
