INEZ HUGHES, Shelby and INEZ ROBERTS, Rutherfordton, [this makes 5 ?] ; 3 sons, VIRGIL and MARSHALL, Spindale and BRANCHVILLE of Rutherfordton; one sister, MRS. IDA TAYLOR , Rutherfordton; 14 grandchildren and 5 g-grandchildren. --- Spindale, March 3.-MRS. MARY E. RADFORD, 69, died at her home Sunday. Surviving are; her husband, CHARLIE RADFORD; 3 daughters, MRS. W.M. ARROWOOD, MRS. B.C. THOMPSON and MRS. W.C. CRANE, all of Rutherfordton, Rt3,; 3 sons, JIM, Spindale, GROVER, Green Hill, and WORTH, Baltimore, Md.; one brother, HARVE GUFFEY, Greensboro,; one half-sister, MRS. INEZ LEDBETTER, Spindale ; 2 half brothers, LORAN and IRA GUFFEY, Spindale; 19 grandchildren and 12 g- grandchildren. She was a member of the Caroleen Meth. church. Funeral services were held at the Shiloh Bapt. church, burial in church cemetery. Hovis- Crowe Funeral Home in charge. - Mill Springs- MRS. DAISY ANN RUFF LAWTER, 69, w/o F.D. LAWTER of Mill Spring Rt.2, died unexpectedly at her home in Cooper Gap. She was a native of Polk Co., d/o the late JESSIE and SARAH BAILEY RUFF. She was a member of Cooper Gap Bapt. church. Funeral services will be held at Cooper Gap church with Revs. GEORGE LYNCH and PAUL STEPP officiating, burial in church cemetery. Pallbearers; EDISON RUFF, CAROL RUFF, BRYSON RUFF, JOE OWENSBY, JAY OWNESBY, and HERMAN COX. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, EARLEY OWENSBY, of Mill Spring, Rt. 2; 2 brothers, GARRISON RUFF, Hendersonville, and LARKENS RUFF, Gerton; 18 grandchildren and 6 g-grandchildren.
