Hi, My g-g-grandfather was Richard Edward Allen, born abt 1785 in Wilkes County, NC. He married Anna Walker, 27 April 1814 in Rutherford County, NC. Richard's mother was Naomi Hall Adams Edwards. She was the wife of William Adams of Wilkes County, who died in 1783. And the wife of William Edwards, who died in Rutherford County in 1811. John Adams, who resided in lower Burke County in 1850 was a half brother to Richard. I think Anna Walker was a daughter of Jeremiah Walker & Catherine Street but have no proof. Richard & Anna Walker Allen moved to Haywood County about 1846. Would appreciate any info that would prove or disprove Anna as a daughter of Jeremiah Walker. Would also like any info on William Edwards, husband of Naomi. Was Naomi the mother of William's children? Thanks Sandra Allen Fender
