I am researching the following Rutherford names: FREEMAN, DYCUS(DICAS), WALKER, COVINGTON I am particularly interested in determining the parents of Joel and Peter (b 1805) FREEMAN. Joel and family removed to Moultrie Co., IL in late 1820's along with his brother Peter and family. Peter remained in Moultrie Co., approx. two years and moved to Ripley/Oregon Cos., MO. These WALKERs migrated to Rutherford from Pittsylvania Co., VA. The COVINGTONs were from Essex, VA before Rutherford, possibly via Pittsylvania Co. Doreen Pool
