Hello, I am looking for any researchers of any HARDIN/HARDENs in Rutherford County in the late 1700s into the 1800s. Where did your Hardins come from? I am looking into the possibilty that my 5th great grandmother Elizabeth "Betty" Nowlin, wife of David Nowlin Sr. could be a HARDIN. She was born in 1755 according to the Nowlin family Bible. She and David Nowlin Sr. appear to have a son named Hardin Nowlin who died in 1805 and also grandsons named Hardin. Any help on the HARDINs is greatly appreciated. The names in the 1782 special census were Benjamin, David, and Jonathan Hardin. Thank you, Melody Booker
