Hi all, I had the great opportunity to visit Rutherford County this past week. While I was there, I visited Walls Baptist Church and Cemetery. I got several pictures of grave stones while I was there. If you have a relative resting there and wish to find out if I got their stone, let me know I am will check. I also visited The Old Green Cemetery, also know as the Simon Davis Cemetery. It is very run down, but it was still neat to go. I also have photos of the stones there. I also got to visit the Old Hopewell Cemetery. While I was there, I went to the Old genealogy Society of Old Tryon. I was able to purchase a book called "Bridges To The Past". This book contains all the articles from the column in their newspaper reguarding genealogy. If you have a family from Rutherford county and would like me to do a look up for you, just let me know and I will gladly look an individual up for you.
