Hello Everyone, In 1822 William W. McEntire sold land on First Little Broad River to George Royster. This land was on Joseph Hearns line. Witnesses to the deed were John Hendrick and Larson C. Moore. In 1829 George Royster sold land on First Broad River to Thomas Wilkins Sr. This land was on Aaron Ross's line. Witnesses to the deed were George Hendrick and C.H. Royster. Does anyone know anything about the Wilkins, McEntire or Roysters mentioned? Which William McEntire is this? My 4th great grandfather was Thomas Wilkinson and his son in law was William McEntire. I thought that it was interesting that a Wilkins and McEntire both had land dealings with George Royster. Have been wondering if the "on" could have been left off of Thomas Wilkinson's name.
