Does anyone on the list know if the BAXTER, BERRYHILL, MCDANIEL and CARPENTER families of Rutherford County [ca. 1750-1850] were of Indian heritage. Specifically, the William Baxter [1760-1852] and his wife, Sarah Berryhill [1766-1812], family line.
