The Griffins I would like to find out more are James P. and Temperance (Turner) Griffin. They started in Polk County, NC and then moved to Cleveland County, NC around the same time as their daughter Ellen (Griffin) Dyer. She was married to my Granduncle Jonathan Dyer. As, for the Allen my Maternal Grandfather was Pascal Grant Allen. I can trace his father back to Hugh Allen in the 1700's. This was obtained from another researcher. My Grandfather was from Rutherford County. He is buried at the Roundhill Cemetery. His Father Joseph Allen is buried at Centennial Cemetery, Rutherford County, NC. His Grandfather William Allen is buried at Brittian Presbyterian Cemetery, Rutherford County, NC. If you are related I would love to share information.
