In WD Floyd's list of NC land grants at http://ns1.rfci.net/wdfloyd/grants.html he lists the following: McLerkin, James 29-31 270 1817 Does someone here have access to Deed Books 29-31 who could check p 270 and find this grant for me? BTW, all the information published online by Mr. Floyd is greatly appreciated! He has done, and is doing, a service to everyone interested in the history and genealogy of this part of the country, including a number of counties in both North and South Carolina. Thank you!!!
