    2. I had someone look for a Bastardy Bond at the state archives and from what they told me their were boxes and boxes of info not in the right boxes and in no order at the archives also. So it isn't only the county courthouses. By the way if anyone runs across a Bastardy Bond that Nancy McEntire Thompson( ? THOMPSON, was on marriage bond as such) filed against Jacob Wolf for a child born to her before they married in Dec 1825. She waas daughter of Andrew Aaron McEntire and Ellender. He died in 1827 and she is named in his will of which I have a copy of from Rutherford County.
