My family,many of them are House and Crowell, Shad and Heilig,, were residents of Gold Hill actually dating back to about 1873 or so. Through marriages and moving about or moving on there are probably no more of these families. Some I do know seem to remain especially Culp and Eudy, and Russell; however I really need to find out more of those related to the names I listed above. I need to know more about Gold Hill, its people, and life as it was during the periods following WWII and into the 1950s. By the way my grandmother was Mattie Ingram who was born to Andy Crowell in the 1860s, married John House in 1885 and was married to Stokes Ingram after John's passing, she married Stokes in 1913. Children born to Mattie: Fred, Eugene, Maggie Heilig, Theola Morgan, Frankine Barnhardt, and Felicia Belser. They are all deceased. Please someone....I need your help. Thanks.
