My ancestor, William White, sold land to them before he moved his family to Lincoln Co TN in time to appear o 1820 Census there. Zimmerman's and Phelps/Felps were close neighbors too. All three families moved to Lincoln Co TN bet 1818-1820. ** I have copies of some Leatherman and related families wills of Lincoln Co TN. Hope above info with help separate these families.
