He is found in 1850 and 1860 in AR. He lists place of birth as NC. I find a Henry Cowan in 1820 and 1810. Could he be the Henry who married Elizabeth Rex in 1824? Maybe not, I need to look at 1820 census and see who is living with him. He (the one I am looking for) remarried a Martha. She is about 10-12 yrs older than his oldest son.
