Daniel and Jemima lived in Mock's Old Field, Rowan Co, NC.,in 1834 now known as Mocksville, Davie Co, NC. The county was changed to Davie Co, in 1836. One of Daniel and Jemima's sons, Charles W. Cook was supposidly born in Mock's Old Field, Rowan Co,NC., on 11-March-1834. We are still searching for both Daniel Cook and first wife, Martha Brumley's parents and siblings '. We believe that Jane Jemima Kennerly's parents were Charles Kennerly and wife Anna Allbright. Have yet to prove '. Also searching for Daniel and Jemima's daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Miller's parents and siblings. She was b-Oct-1843-Union Co, IL., and married Charles W. Cook, son of Daniel and Jane Jemima (Kennerly) Cook. Mary Jane (Miller) Cook's parents may have been born in NC., and later moved to Union Co, IL., also. Daniel and Jemima moved to Union Co, IL., about 1847 we believe and lived there the rest of their lives. They had eight children born to their union.
