Walker and Mary Conatser Walker. William and his brother Reuben moved from Randolph Co. NC to Overton co. TN with his sister Nancy who married Jonathon Allred. I have a deed dtd 1847 showing William owning over 600 acres on the West Branch of the Obey River. Left there sometime and it shows his 1st son James D. Walker b:1830 in Bilbrey White Co. (Now in Putnam Co.)William bought some land by Woodcliff and his son S.T. Walker built that into Walker Holler. Land ended up with S.T.'s boys Dillard,George,William, and my grandfather James Herbert Walker.
