Smith? I have hit a giant wall! Allegedly born May 24,1812 North Carolina (parents both from NC); married to Sarah McMillan born May 17, 1817(NC)in approx 1834. They eventually settled in Bullock and Pike Counties, Alabama and had, we believe, up to 14 children, the youngest of which is my ggrandfather, Arelious (sp?)McMurry (sp?) Smith.
