I've been searching for information on this family for quite some time. There are two main families of Mitchell's from this area but I've not been able to make the connection as of yet. My oldest living family member from this side passed away in October and he had no recollection of the Mitchell's (his mother was Maudy Mitchell who married Jesse Cumbo). I am still actively searching (not as often as I would like, but still searching). I will be glad to share anything that I can uncover.
