When I put John F. or L. Baity in the last post it was just referring to that discussion. Here is what I posted in case you missed it: "George Enoch Francis Baity's son is shown on the 1880 census as John F. Baity, b. abt. 1873. The "F" could be another middle name or an error. It's all part of the big puzzle but I agree it strongly suggests that he is the son of George Enoch. John L. Baity is shown is 1930 census at Salisbury, Rowan, NC, age 58, b.abt. 1872, spouse, Eliza B. with children, Marvin D. age 24, Dallas K. age 20, George E. age 16, Odell O., age 13.
