Mary would have been 56 years old when she had John Franklin if this were to be true. Other people state John Franklin is the son of Jacob Shoaf and Elizabeth Grubb-but John Franklin was born before their marriage date of 1-27-1846. Now I am totally confussed. Cannot find a John Shoaf in the 1850 census with an age of 6 years old. I find two John Shoaf's at age 4-no Frank Shoaf at age 6. We need to keep working on this puzzle.
