If the name of a person from NC, whom you have family writings about being in the war, yet his name is not on the internet, in the rosters that are listed, Do you know how you could find it? Did any of the enlistment records give father, or county they enlisted from? Are there even any records? DA R lists a name and birthday for this same name.. I would like to prove it is the right one, but have nothing else to go on. Thanks for any help.
