This Mark Dedmon is brother to my 4xgreatgrandmother Mary Polly Dedmon, and Jacob Wolfe, they had 2 sons Jacob and Michael, I descend from the second Jacob also and he had a son named William Cathey Wolfe married to Phoebia Lee, daughter of George Lee and Pricilla Bridges of Rutherford County, NC. I think the Cathey's and my Wolfe's must have been friend or had some kind of connection in Rowan County NC for my 2xgreatgrandfather to have the Middle name of Cathey, and he was called by that name.
