Schoolmaster in Rowan Co., NC 1827-28, JESSE RANKIN I went to the Rankin GenForum page and found this on this apparently Presbyterian minister, who must have run a private school in Rowan Co., NC where my DAVID & JOSEPH POOL and TOBIAS LEMLY were educated, plus others. It is not clear which NC country the Rev. Rankin originally came from, perhaps Guilford Co., NC judging by some of the other entries in this long posting. What Presbyterian Church was Rev.
