Appreciate any Seeking information on descendants and ancestors of Andrew M. HOWARD who resided in Rowan County, NC where he enlisted on 15 June 1861 in the CSA army. He was wounded at Gettysburg, PA on 02 July 1863. He was present and accounted for through February 1865. He was captured at Amelia Court House, VA 0n 05 April 1865 and confined at5 Point Lookout, MD and was released when he took the Oath of Allegiance on 27 June 1865.
