(that is a GG??) However, my Matherly branch is from Pittsylvania County with my grandfather being Benjamin Harrison Matherly married to Minnie Bell Steele. His father was George Matherly (b.Pittsylvania County) who was married to Martha Barbour (Barber??). Minnie Bell Steele was the daughter of Lida Custer and Hiram Steele.
