This is what I’ve been told: Patrick Coyle I, b. 1726 Ulster, Ireland, d. 1797 Rowan Co., NC, ,married Elizabeth Jean Murray 1752 in Rowan Co., NC Patrick was indentured to a William Bronson in Philladelphia, PA around 1746 and Elizabeth was indentured to Abigail Petro in Philadelphia and also to William White in Kent Co., Maryland Children: Patrick II 1758, John 1755, James 1760, George 1761, Williamson 1763, Thomas 1753, Paulina 1757, Mary Elizabeth 1765 Patrick Coyle II, b. 1758 Rowan Co., NC, d. 1804 Madison Co., KY, married Nancy McCreary 1778 Rowan Co., NC – came to Kentucky about 1798 Children: Jesse 1779, Alford 1799, Isaac 1787, James Patrick 1794 This is what I know: Jesse Coyle b. 1779 Rowan Co., NC, d. 2-12-1861 Estill Co., KY, married Jane Powell 9-25-1815 Estill Co., KY Children: Talitha 1838, Tilford, 1817, John Edward 1819, Francis Marion 1822, Lucinda Ann 1826, Elvina 1828, Paralee 1838, Bosby 1832, Armilda 1834, Serelda 1836, Selena 1840, Martha Ann 1842 Talitha Arimentha Coyle, b. 1838 KY, d. abt. 1897, married 1) Hawkins McQueen 3-10-1856 in Estill Co., KY. 2) John William Chandler 9-3-1864 in Pendleton Co., KY. 3) Lewis Maurice Woodyard – no marriage record found yet. Children with John Chandler: Martha Chandler b. 1866, Minerva Chandler or Woodyard b. 1869 Children with Lewis Woodyard: Melvina 1871, Lena W. 1875, Katherine 1876, Lacy 1880 Melvina Woodyard, b. 1871 Union Township, Clark Co., IN, d. after 1903 probably Estill or Madison Co., KY, married 1) possibly John Kelley August 1891 a record was found in Madison Co., KY, 2) for sure James Franklin “Frank” Still before 1897 but no record found yet. Children with Frank Still: Evalyna 1897, Robert 1900, Charles Louis 1903. Evalyna Still, b. 11-18 Estill Co., KY d. 12-25-1991 Madison Co., KY married James C. “Neal” Winkler 1914 (They also lived in Hamilton, Ohio for a while around 1916) Children: 8 sons and 3 daughters (5 sons and 1 daughter still living) Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, gg-grandchildren and so on
