    3. Cathy, You might try getting the 1817 court documents on film thru the LDS. Of course, if you don't know the month his trial came up, you may spend a lot of time scrolling through the film. Or you could send a message to Vanessa Sterling in the Rowan History Room and see if they have the court documents on film. Her e-mail is: sterlingv@co.rowan.nc.us. If she finds anything, she can photocopy the film pages and charge you only $4 for up to 10 pages. She has found a lot of material for me.
