Looking for any information on Davis' from Rowan County. My Jessie Davis born NC and parents born NC. Jessie is on the 1870 Lawrence Co AL census and apparently many Davis' in this part of Alabama mention being from Rowan County NC. I don't know his parents name, but hoping someone could help.
