Was your Overcash family also in Rowan Co., NC? I saw an old posting on a message board about a Margaret Overcash, who was born in Rowan Co., NC and moved to Tx. (Dallas area I think) ca. 1878/79. I am searching for info on my GG. grandfather, David F. Webb, b. 1850 in Rowan Co., NC. He is not listed in the 1880 cencus with his family in Rowan Co.,, but by 1881 he is in Gonzales Co., Tx. where he married. I have noticed there were Overcash familiesin the area where he lived in Rowan Co.; just wondering if there was a connection. (My David Webb had a sister named Margaret who was born in 1848. I can't find her after 1860. I have wondered if she might have married an Overcash, and this was a daughter who came to Tx.) Would appreciate any info you have! Thanks so much! Robin
