This makes me think that Francis and Mary married in 1823, had John W. Ward in 1825. Something happened to his wife between 1823 and 1828 when he remarried to Sarah Miller. I think it may be possible that she died in childbirth in 1825 while giving birth to John W. Ward. Then, Francis remarried in 1828 when John would have been about 3 years old. That may be the reason there is no birthdate listed for him. It is very feasible and that is why I am writing to you. Can you provide any info on the John W. Ward, grandson of Levin Ward by Francis Asbury Ward? I would love to hear from anyone connected to this family. I am interested in any thoughts on this family.
