    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: SMITH BROWN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0VB.2ACI/6638.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, Shirley. Pinning their mother would be excellent since that probably will lead to the Brown parent also. What was her name and what further info might you have on her, please? I'd love to continue this conversation via email. Re land records: no, no access - I live in Maryland. Sorry! I have various records on the Smith family because they were my link to Mary Jane Brown who married David Henderson Hammontree (my wife's great-great-grandparents). I expected them to be in Bradley Co. Tn. but eventually found them in the Georgia census pages. I have much of the census data and also the following cemetery data and probably a bit more. Is the Nancy Caroline Smith here your ancestress? ========================================== Date: Thu, 12 Nov 1998 10:59:28 EST From: DTracy1124@aol.com> <mailto:DTracy1124@aol.com To: GAMURRAY-L@rootsweb.com Message-ID: <45a83910.364b05e0@aol.com> Subject: [GAMURRAY-L] HOWELL surname Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit I am looking for information on any HOWELL families in Murray Co. for the years of 1780+. Robert H. Howell b. 3/7/1788 worked on the Vann house, the McNair Home and the Hilderbrand home. He was a stone mason. Robert also died and is buried behind the Vann house on Jan 31, 1834. His family lived in McMinn and Polk Cos, TN which is the neighboring counties. Robert had two brothers, possibly William and Thomas or James, that are supposedly buried alongside him there. We need any information we can find on any Howells. Thanks, Darlene Sumach Cemetery - Murray Co. Ga.
