If you're traveling on Int. 85, when you get to Salisbury, you will need to take the Albemarle exit (Hwy 52). Go through the small towns of Granite Quarry and Rockwell. The next little town will be Gold Hill. The village of Gold Hill is being revitalized and you must visit there. One of the attractions there is the old Mauney Store.
