Philip Logain is listed on the 1782-1783 Rowan County Taxables list, page 192, as being in Capt. Davison's district and owing taxes for the year 1781. Is there any way to find out what part of Rowan County Philip Logan (correct spelling of last name) lived in at that time and what county the property wound up in after Rowan was split? Believe at least part of Capt. Davison's district winds up in Irdell County but don't know if all of it did. Any help will be appreciated. Arnold Logan North Richland Hills, TX
