Does anyone have the below book? There may be a larger version simply entitled "The Old North State." Interesting revolutionary incidents : and sketches of character, chiefly in the "Old North State" / by the Rev. Eli.Washington Caruthers, D.D. Supposedly in this work there is a mention of a WILLIAM JULIAN who was killed after being captured with William Trogdon; I presume this means in the American Revolution. If anyone has the book, could you see what it has to say about this William Julian? If it has quite a lot, I could get the book through inter-library loan, but I don't know if it is worthwhile or not. By the way, all of my e-mail messages (all my genealogy material except for Word documents) has been wiped out because I tried to upgrade my software and the backup didn't work. Betty Pace
