Surnames: EADES/EADS/BARROTT/BARRETT Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/0VB.2ACI/6837.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi Karen, I think my Eades ancestry may connect to Ezekiel and Polly...from memory only I can tell you...My gr.grandfather was John Eades, b. 1824-1828 Iredell Co., NC, I believe his father (my 2nd gr.GF) to have been another John b. abt. 1800-1802 NC and married to Mary "Polly" Massey in Wilkes Co., NC. Then I believe his father (my 3rd gr.GF) to have been Ezekiel who may have married Polly Barrott/Barrett. However, I have no documented proof of this line backwards fr. my gr.grandfather...have more on down to my own generation. I have loaned all my genealogy stuff to my brother who still lives in NC in hopes he will have more luck connecting and getting past some of my brickwalls...Will be happy to share and compare and would be interested in what you have on Eades/Eads/Edes....Thanks!
