Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Spartanburg, S.C., with the Rev. Kent Branstetter officiating. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Hillsboro Presbyterian Church, 5280 Hillsboro Road, Nashville, Tenn., with the Rev. Nancy McCurley officiating. Visitation will follow at the church. Mrs. Caldwell was born in Woodleaf, N.C., to the late John Knox and Linnie Hart Culbertson but made her home in Brentwood, Tenn. She was a teacher for 35 years in North Carolina and Georgia and was a member of Hillsboro Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Caldwell Adams. Survivors include a son, John E. Caldwell Jr. and wife Jo Ann of Brentwood, Tenn.; grandchildren, W. Webster Adams and Rebecca Branstetter; and great-grandchildren, David and John Branstetter. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home of Franklin, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements in Franklin, and Floyd Mortuary of Spartanburg, S.C., is in charge of arrangements in Spartanburg.
