He moved to Edgefield South Carolina where he married Mary Polly Padget. Later on they moved to Barbour County, Alabama where many Johnsons are still settled. I only know that he was born in NC but don't know which county. I was wondering if he may have been named after his father? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
