Merill of Regulator fame). Your David Rudolphus Julian was the brother of my Susan Julian (1854-1908). Susan Julian married Clayton Wakefield Poole (1848-1908) and one of their children was my grandmother Mary Ann Poole (1879-1953), who married Charles Wakefield Pace, Sr. of Salisbury, NC. Some researchers do not believe that George Julian III (#4 in your message) was the father of David Julian. William Julian was the eldest son of David Julian, and that alone suggests that David's father was another William. We are still looking for the proof.
