My info is that Isaiah was born abt 1763 and died abt 1850 he was born in Maryland,His son Nathaniel was born in 1787 in Surry or Yadkin County North Carolina, and he married Charlotte ?? don't know last name. they do show up in 1850 census for Surry County N.C. Then I believe his father (my 3rd gr.GF) to have been Ezekiel who may have married Polly Barrott/Barrett. However, I have no documented proof of this line backwards fr. my gr.grandfather...have more on down to my own generation. I have loaned all my genealogy stuff to my brother who still lives in NC in hopes he will have more luck connecting and getting past some of my brickwalls...Will be happy to share and compare and would be interested in what you have on Eades/Eads/Edes....Thanks!

The name Alsey/Alsa is a name that is repeated in various Pace families in NC. I have never been able to determine its origin. I also know that Ailsee is an Indian name but can't piece that together either. I have even known of two female Alseys in NC.
