Probably a fair number of the google listings are from me. I use it often. I will spend more time on the LDS site. Do you happen to know a site that would give the boundaries of Rowan Co. from 1780 to 1810? Some claim that my Nathaniel Mullins was the son of a Nathaniel Mullins from Franklin Co. Others claim he was the son of David and Athalia (Boyd) Mullins. Again, my thanks. Rowan County was not formed until 1753, from Anson County. Regarding Laban Jones. Just for kicks, I did a www.google.com search for *Laban Jones*, putting his name in quotation marks. There were at least three hits. I suggest you try this. Perhaps you can correspond with others concerning his wife or wives. I did not explore further. Laban Jones was reportedly a Cumberland Presbyterian minister. You may want to do a google.com search for Cumberland Presbyterian also. Good luck! E.W.Wallace

She is listed in the US Census (1850) in Macon County, NC as being 58 years old, which would make her birth about 1792.She is also listed as being born in Rowan County, NC. Her husband was Laban Jones, who was listed in the same census as 60 years old and a native of Virginia . I have no other information on Lucretia's family. Because of ages of some of the children in the 1850 census, I have reason to believe that Lucretia is Laban's second wife. Any information would be most appreciated. Thanks!
