In my heart I know all his male family members can not be as bad as he was all I found out about him was his date of birth his death was in 1966 I do not know anything else of him I think he was born in Ky. but I do know he lived in Jamestown Ky. Russell county when he died he was married to Zola Wilson I have her family members but not his I need all you might be able to tell me of my Irwin family after all one bad apple doesn't mean the whole lot of them are bad please help me Sir Please. Miller" for a long time. Jacob was born 12 Aug 1816 in Davidson County (old Rowan). He died 14 July 1857 in Davie County. Jacob married Mary "Polly" Spry on 31 July 1842. Does anyone have info on his parents? I live in NM now, so it is difficult to search. I haven't seen the Wendel Miller book. Salisbury Post, 11/20/1960 John L. Baity Succumbs Here John Lewis Baity, 88, of 117 East Harrison Street, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. Leo Stiller of the Charlotte Highway. He had been in declining health several years and seriously ill since February. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 o'clock in the Stallings Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. J. B. Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Courtney Baptist Church cemetery in Yadkin County. The body will lie in state in the church for 30 minutes prior to final rites and will be at the Summerset Funeral Home until moved to the residence of Mrs. Stiller at 3 o'clock today. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rowan County Rescue Squad. Mr. Baity was born in Yadkin County on September 12, 1872, son of the late George and Julia Henderson Baity. He received his education in the Yadkin County Schools and was employed in the carpenter trade most of his life, retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Stallings Memorial Baptist Church and active in its work and that of his Sunday School class until his health failed. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Eliza Shoaf Baity, to whom he was married April 9, 1899; four sons, Marvin Baity of Kannapolis, Dallas R., George E. and Odell Baity, all of Salisbury; his daughter, Mrs. J. Leo Stiller; one brother, A. C. Baity of Forsyth County; three sisters, Mrs. I. I. Baity of Yadkinville, Miss Ollie V. Baity and Mrs. A. A. Daniel and Jemima lived in Mock's Old Field, Rowan Co, NC.,in 1834 now known as Mocksville, Davie Co, NC. The county was changed to Davie Co, in 1836. One of Daniel and Jemima's sons, Charles W. Cook was supposidly born in Mock's Old Field, Rowan Co,NC., on 11-March-1834. We are still searching for both Daniel Cook and first wife, Martha Brumley's parents and siblings '. We believe that Jane Jemima Kennerly's parents were Charles Kennerly and wife Anna Allbright. Have yet to prove '. Also searching for Daniel and Jemima's daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Miller's parents and siblings. She was b-Oct-1843-Union Co, IL., and married Charles W. Cook, son of Daniel and Jane Jemima (Kennerly) Cook. Mary Jane (Miller) Cook's parents may have been born in NC., and later moved to Union Co, IL., also. Daniel and Jemima moved to Union Co, IL., about 1847 we believe and lived there the rest of their lives. They had eight children born to their union. I believe this Andrew Morrison was the son of David Morrison (1752-1800) who was the son of Andrew Morrison (1718-1770). Andrew was probably married previously than his marriage to Margaret M. Ervin.
