Julie if you don't find what you need online I would suggest that you write a letter to the Old New Hanover Genealogical Society. They have volunteers that go in one day a week and research for people. You need to write a letter asking about only one ancestor at a time. Be very specific regarding all the dates that you have about that person and the kind of information that you are looking for. They won't charge you much more than postage and copying fees, but a donation is always nice. Their address is: Old New Hanover Genealogical Society, PO Box 2536, Wilmington, NC 28402.
