Sometime in the 1970s a series of county "Historical Documentation" maps of North Carolina were published by a firm called The Custom House, of Jamestown, NC. A Fred Hughes was involved in some of the maps. They were large format, with geographical landmarks and, most importantly, names and locations of individual property owners. Does anyone know (1) if The Custom House is still in business, and/or are the maps still in print? and (2) were they done for more counties than the three--Stokes, Randolph and Montgomery--that I've come up with? Grateful for any reply. Thanks. John Ottinger
