I am seeking information on a slave holder By the name of William Crawford Breeze. Orange County.He may have lived in Hillsborough,North Carolina.If not Hillsborough,It may be a town name Efland.My grand father was a slave.His name was James Henry Breeze.He became free at the young age of 4 or 6 years of age.Many of my family members lived in Hillsborough.This place I have known about from a child.My mother,I just found out was born in Efland. She told me a true funny story about me grand father and his past slave holder.In the story she told me the house they had lived in was down the road from what they called "Old man Crawfords place."I know that my grand father must of had some type of fondness for him because Crawford had a son name William and so did my grand father.I am told that the two boys served in the military at the same time.I don't know what war.If there is any one that can offer any help I would be so thankful. http://community.webtv.net/stephanie179/StephaniesFamily
