She married Thomas Bloodworth before moving from Edgecombe County to Sumner County, TN, and I would be interested in hearing from anyone with information about either of these families. Also, would someone explain the situation with marriage records in Edgecombe County. Were they recorded by the county in the years before 1800? If religious organizations might have recorded them, what churches were organized and operating during the second half of the 1700s?
