Janet and List, For those interested in visiting the NCGenWeb Archives, you can go to this URL: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/nc/ncfiles.htm It will show a listing of the counties for NC, click on the one of your choice and it will bring up all documents that folks have donated as of date. Remember to also click on the other county link as well on each page. Say for instance, you go to Stanly County's Archive site, you will also find a link for Stanly County's Page as well at the bottom of the Archive page. Both sites will have wonderful info. What you may find on one site may not be on the other, and vice versa, so it is always best to check both. Also on the above URL, you can locate a link that is called USGenWeb Archives Table of Contents which will lead you to a Site that lists all states with links. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
